MelodyVR virtually transports fans to performances with their favourite artists
We’ve spent the last two years working with over 500 renowned artists to create the world’s biggest library of virtual reality music content. From Ibiza Rocks, Snowbombing and SW4 festivals, to The O2, Brixton Academy, Wembley Arena and the Roundhouse – we’ve captured performances from the likes of The Who, Rudimental, Kygo and Underworld to name just a few.
The MelodyVR app will see fans teleport through time to experience live performances, all from the comfort their own homes. We’ve handpicked our catalogue to make sure there’s something for all musical tastes; from UK Grime with Skepta, to rock with Fall Out Boy, to electronic with Annie Mac by way of classical with the London Symphony Orchestra.
By connecting fans to musicians in a completely new way, we’ll generate new revenues for the music industry. Fans will no longer miss out on shows because they can’t get tickets, nor because they live too far away to go, or because they’re not old enough to get into the venue!
We’ll offer vantage points on the action that you can’t get any other way – on stage with the band, backstage at the festival, in the studio when the track’s being made or in the booth when it’s tearing up the dancefloor.
“In the olden days, 1971, Pete Townshend wrote a science fiction musical called Lifehouse about a future where people didn’t have to leave home to get real life experiences from outside their four walls, we thought he was mad! But he proved to be right. MelodyVR have managed to bring this to life.”
– Roger Daltrey (The Who)
“Working with MelodyVR is a really exciting development for SW4. Their cutting-edge technology makes music fans actually feel like they are there on stage, yards away from their favourite artists. They’re creating a one-of-a-kind, impactful music experience, driven by the latest technology, and we’re delighted to be with them on this journey.”
– Jeff Gray, Founder (SW4)
